The tutorial at my website gives instructions on how to read a DB chart. DB-BEAD is a program created by Damian Brunold to assist beaders who want to design their own bead crochet ropes. The example in my tutorial was a chart given freely to beaders in the USA to show their patriotism. You can use it as you choose. The DB software can be found at http://www.brunoldsoftware.ch and once you download the zipped file to your desktop, you click on that file to create the program file.

This process does not put a link to the software on your desktop, or in your start menu. You find the file to load the software at C:\Program Files\DB-BEAD\DBBEAD.exe and if you want a link on your desktop, find the file and right click, hit SEND TO, and choose DESKTOP. Now you will have a link on your desktop that you can click to start the program.

This tutorial explains how to check the sequence of beads to make sure you have the second, third, fourth, etc. sequences correct, as well as explain how to read the three charts generated by DB-Bead.
