Hello from Lunenburg VA. I'm Dawn and I raise sheep for their fiber. I love crocheting the handspun yarns of wool because I'm amazed at the end result. I am addicted to all sorts of fiber textures and while I don't have much time to crochet like I'd like to, when I'm on a trip, you can find me with a hook and yarn in hand.

Even though I started crocheting as a young child I didn't know much about the dif. types of crochet or many stitches until the last few years. I esp. love working with thread and making doilies. I was so glad to see the wonderful beginer patterns and instructions given in this group for many types of crochet and even cro-tat. After I finish all the things I need to make for Christmas I'm going to start learning Irish crochet.

Another variation, using the same bead crochet tubes. Both of these patterns are ones I sell on my website.

There's no rule that says you cannot hang a pendant on your bead crochet necklace. This is another of one of my latest patterns put up for sale. There's more pictures at my website. This is just as easy as ...

Hi!

My name is Kerstin and I´m German! I´m 25 years old and since 2 years I´m addicted to beads

I love everything thats pink and sparkling.

Last time I did more stitching than crocheting - but I´d like to improve my crochet-skills. Hope to get some inspiration here.

By the way: do you know the German crochet classroom http://www.perlenhaekeln.de? It´s the German counterpart to this portal.

Ferosa's work is absolutely gorgeous, Kim's site is a treasure trove of inspiration, knowledge, and also is a great jumping off point for locating other great patterns, etc. on the internet.

I am particularly grateful for the work these folks are doing both in the art of crochet and in the generous way they share.
