[b]Hello from beautiful east Tennessee!

My name is Kathryn (friends and family call me Kathy or Kat) I have recently moved back to knoxville. TN after a long exile in Kentucky. I am the divorced mother of two great kids and one dog and one cat (The animals think they're kids too). I have been knitting, crocheting and embroidering since the age of eight, but have just recently ventured out into learning new techniques and trying to design my own patterns and adapt others to what I need. You would think I would have done these things before 40 years passed by, but I never seemed to have the time before. It just goes to show it's never too late and you're never to old to learn! I am thoroughly enjoying this site so far and hope to make a lot of new friends here and learn a lot from all of you.
