This was the very first thing I tapestry crocheted. My technique may be a little sloppy, but it should improve with practice.

You did a fantastic job with that tutorial, we are all a little sloppy when learning a new technique. The main thing is you did it girlfriend and you should feel mighty proud of your accomplishment. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing your progress with the technique.

Thanks! I crocheted that while I was watching a soccer match last night. Had to give my hands something to do. But, yeah, I did it! SO, I'm proud of myself. I've gotten absolutely hooked (pardon the pun) on tapestry crochet, probably because of Carol's history of it. Like Carol, I'm also interested in backstrap weaving and will probably get her bead/felted tapestry crochet and hair sash books. (already have two of her tapestry crochet books)

This pouch was primarily a practice piece. I'm looking forward to more!
