Hi there!
My name is Mindy. I joined a while back, but I do believe this is my first post. I'm a full-time student majoring in history. I've just completed my second year. At the moment, I'm participating in an internship at one of the historical villages here in NZ. I hope to work in a museum in the future.
This means that my time for needle arts is very limited, but I do try to design a little something once in a while. My specialty is Irish crochet laces, but I like to also make Romanian Point Lace. I have a broad interest in needlelaces and beading as well. I especially like making small items, like jewelry and accessories. They don't take as much time to make
The largest project I have made in Irish crochet is a child's collar which took 2 years to make.
I have had some designs published and I am still waiting on another design to appear, which is taking forever
I've also self-published 6 Irish crochet designs.
I am currently working on a simple bracelet design, free to download. I'll keep the group posted. To visit my blog:
